Vietnam Magazine was an American history publication that showcased the Vietnam War in full color, released bi-monthly. Founded in 1988 by the late Colonel Harry G. Summers, Jr., a decorated veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars, the magazine continued under the editorship of David T. Zabecki until it ceased publication in March 2024. Zabecki, a former major general in the U.S. Army Reserve, was appointed in 2007 after serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Mobilization and Reserve Affairs for U.S. Army Europe. The magazine featured contributions from journalists, military historians, political analysts, and veterans, with many articles presenting firsthand accounts of combat operations and insights into units and weaponry.
