Where Bleed The Many (1955) By George Dunning

Lance-Corporal Dunning was taken prisoner by the Germans during the retreat towards Dunkirk in May 1940. He spent a lot of the war escaping from one prisoner-or-war camp after another: Stalag VIIIB in Upper Silesia; Czestochowa Poland; again in Stalag VIIIB; Poland; Rouen; a fort near Nice; Campo 73 in Northern Italy. After making his final escape from Campo 73, he took to the mountains and joined various partisan groups, engaging in guerilla activities. His adventures with the partisan groups are legion.
