The Buchenwald Report (1995) By David A. Hackett

Apparent first printing of the English translation in the U.S., a translation of a report first prepared for the U.S. Army in 1945, but never used in its entirety at the Nuremberg trials and subsequently thought lost. This translation was prepared from a single, faded, carbon copy of the original in the possession of one of the original army interviewers who interviewed prisoners after the liberation. The first part is the main report, which factually describes conditions at the camp. The second part contains the "Individual Reports," or the eyewitness testimony of the camp's surviving prisoners.
