Impact Of Major Defence Projects: A Case Study Of The ANZAC Ship Project (2000)

 

This report by consultants Tasman Asia Pacific, prepared for the Australian Industry Group's Defence Council, uses the $5.6 billion ANZAC Ship Project as a case study to demonstrate that "defense business is good business for Australia." The report found that the A$5.6 billion ANZAC program generated "at least $3 billion" in additional GNP over 15 years, and an additional A$2.2 billion in "additional consumption." The report includes detailed information on the program's organization, management and financial aspects.
