Extreme Machines: Hovercrafts (1996) DVD
 
An in-depth examination of Hovercrafts from their birth in the late 1950s to the latest vast military crafts of the US Navy. We document the variety of tasks that Hovercrafts have undertaken from commercial transit vehicles to research crafts where harsh territory such as ice and rock does not allow others, and their numerous military applications to the less serious business of the recreational Hovercraft. We also look into the eccentric and reveal one mans futuristic view of Hovercrafts in urban life.
