"Red Ball Express" (1952) - WW2 Patton's Third Army Convoy Movie

A tense World War II tale based on the true story of a special truck convoy created to transport urgent supplies to General Patton's army situated inside German-occupied France. A racially integrated platoon fights to overcome their differences during World War II. In August 1944, Patton's Third Army has advanced so far following the D-Day invasion toward Paris that it cannot be supplied. To maintain the momentum, Allied headquarters establishes an elite military truck route. One racially integrated platoon of this Red Ball Express encounters private enmities, German resistance, minefields and increasingly perilous missions. Starring Jeff Chandler and Alex Nicol, featuring early screen appearances by Sidney Poitier and Hugh O'Brian. First released on May 24, 1952. #lionheartfilmworks #militaryhistory #WorldWarTwo BECOME A "FOUNDING FATHER" ON OUR NEW PATREON PAGE - Join to find content you can't find anywhere else - Consider becoming a member and joining the history revolution! https://www.patreon.com/LHFW 🇺🇸👕🎖️** Find All Of Our Exclusive Patriotic & History-Oriented Merchandise Here - Every Sale Supports The Channel And Keeps Us "On The Air": https://teespring.com/stores/lionheart-filmworks ☕ If you appreciate our content and want to support us further, direct donations are always welcome at: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/lionheart PLEASE SUBSCRIBE, CLICK THE 'BELL' ICON FOR ALERTS ON NEW CONTENT - AND SHARE THIS VIDEO TO HELP US GROW AND KEEP HISTORY HAPPENING! http://www.lionheart-filmworks.com/store Some other videos you might like on our Channel: 400 Evolution of the United States Army Uniform: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3Q6RyDFAJI&t=21s Sergeant Alvin York - Oct. 8th 1918 Medal Of Honor Moment: https://youtu.be/ad9FWugOIyM "Civil War Firearms: The Guns of North & South" Full Documentary: https://youtu.be/S6U9oqXaLWk "The Story of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier: 100 Years of Honor" - Special Edition: https://youtu.be/xHiDYc6O3SE "Civil War Uniforms of Blue & Grey - The Evolution" Volume 1: https://youtu.be/n8MAlu2NEps ✈️🚁⭐ *** ONE WAY YOU CAN SUPPORT THIS CHANNEL!
